New to dodge trucks, i have a 2008 ram 1500 4x4 4.7 flex fuel 40k miles and have a issue with the fuel gauge . it only will go to 3/4 -7/8 on the gauge when i fill up tried to fill all the way till i got a little coming out of the filler neck. gauge does not drop out or any other issues, no ses light. any ideas. also it has a salvage title but no frame damage clean underneath. thanks.

 

Might be the fuel tank float or sender on the fuel pump. Perhaps needs an adjustment...
