It's cool we are both just trying to help. I do see what you are saying you would think that the switch would go first but I have seen more motors then switches.

im surprised no one has recommended checking for kinked wires through the door grommet. thats what was wrong with my left rear door.

OP, pull off your door panel, reach in there where all the wires pass through the door and give the 3 thick orange(?) wires a slight tug, chances are, they might be kinked or broken.

That's b/c he would see that issue if he pulls the door panel, specially if he is checking voltages.

If Voltage is Zero then there is a wiring problem Before where he is checking.

I mentioned it on the first page...but why bother go to the effort to pull the door panel when he could just pull the boot back and check there first?

In my experience those boots tear sometimes... then you end up with more issues if the wiring starts poking out, also getting them back into those holes can be a pain and that is usually when you end up tearing the darn thing.

Plus sometimes there are too many wires and it's hard to work on them with that boot in the way so it's easier to just check everything with the door panel off. Might take a little more time, but that's the best way to find the problem and then fix it, in my opinion at least.

+1 on this. i just find it easier to give the wires a tug instead of breaking out the multimeter.
