AC Condenser fan stuck on
We had a flood in my area and I had to use my personal vehicle for work as many people were stranded without power. While driving I had to drive though some water.
Soooo...
Now when I first turn on the truck the AC condenser fan kicks on right away, its always running.
Could someone walk me through some checks to see what is going on? I downloaded a service manual but I still have no clue how to go about it.
I would take it to a dealer but the last time I did that was for my driver side door latch being busted and the door not being closed. I was called back a week later and told I had to pay $380 for the diagnostics and they still had not figured out what was wrong. I just ordered the latch and replaced it.
So I figured diagnosing this fan would approach the cost of the truck new, cant afford it.

lets just check the easy stuff first...
Do you have Defrost on?
If you press the A/C Button does the light next to it come on?
Update your "garage" on here with your truck's info so we can help you out a little better.
The pulley on the A/C compressor will still "spin" no matter what, do you hear the clutch engaging on it?
