Default 2005 Ram 1500 Hemi, engine wont shut down!!

Hey guys, i need some help with this doozy. A google search really gave me natta.......

Over the past few weeks, after the truck is warm (seems to be ok when engine is cool), it has a tendancy to NOT shut down when i turn the key off, even with it fully removed. To shut the engine down, in have to pop the hood and then pull the fuel pump fuse. When i replace the fuse, it will fire right back up again.

The other issue with this is that after i pull the fuse to shut it down, a few of the dash warning lights stay on even with the ignition in the off position and the key removed. I then have to take a terminal off the battery so that it wont drain

One thing that happened that is proably relevant is that the other day, i left the truck running when i went into the bank. Of course, it wouldnt shut down. I left the ignition in the off position and took the key with me so that i could lock the doors.

When i returned, i unlocked the truck with the FOB and then the engine shut off, and no lights lit on the dash. I started it up and went on my way.

I replaced the $31 ignition switch and that did diddly squat for it. By the time i got home, same stuff happening again.

HELP! Any ideas???

I think your second post answers your first. You have a loose wire or let's say a wire or connector which is making intermittent contact with another. I'd want to get that looked at ASAP, your problem could easily be a dangerous one.
