Mega cab leveling

I have a 2008 mega cab 1500 4x4 with a ranch hand bumper. Question is, I am going to put a 2 or 2 1/2 inch "donut" on the front. Do I need to upgrade shocks? If so what are some suggestions? Thanks.

you will be right at the limit of the travel, it will be pretty stiff if you dont change out shocks. Ranchos are good and have lots of options, rough country are decent.
