Default Rear differential fluid

Hey guys,I have a 2007 Ram 1500 Q/C 4.7 with 3:55's.I am gonna change the rear diff fluid this weekend and Im not sure exactly what to buy.Can anyone enlighten me on what I need?I could just ask the guys at the parts house but I dont really trust them because they have told me wrong a couple times before on other things.Thanks fellas.

in the rear you use 75w140 with one ouce of Friction active or posi lube if you have the posi rear end.

Your owner's manual tells you what fluids to put in it. As far as brands go, I put Royal Purple in mine.

75W-140 synthetic. Almost three quarts, IIRC. I put a PML pan on mine when I did the service. I used Mobile 1.

I dunno 'bout 3. Should be just over 2(2.2qt)
