I was coming home from town. My truck had been working fine, but then I noticed after stoping at a stop sign, it wasn't going into low to take off. It was like it was in 2nd or higher (automatic). then once cruising doing 80km it wasn't going into O/D. it was reving 2500rpm. is it a sensor or what wood cause this? because once home I went to move it, about half hr later it worked fine, and still is. whats my problem, a tranny sensor or tranny itself??

First thing drive it for 20 minutes or so then find level ground put it in neutral and check the fluid level and condition next is it throwing codes mine had thrown code that related to the solenoid pack twice in the last year or so and when I clear it out it runs fine just need to get off my rear and check the wires and connection or maybe replace it

go get it scanned! That is exactly how my problems started.....I let it go thinking it was a fluke.....had to have it rebuilt! My transmission guy said if I had brought it in chances are it would of been a simple fix!
^My problem was the PRESSURE CONTROL SOLENOID located in the VALVE BODY^
