Default 2002 1500 rear door power

I just finished replacing my radiator and heater core, what a PIA. After getting the dash back together I decided to check why the rear door locks and speakers didn't work. I had read about the wires breaking in the harness and sure enough after pealing back the boot I found a mess. Six of the nine wires were broken. A bit of soldering and some shrink wrap things were working again. I tried to upload a pic but I guess I've maxed out talking about my 06.

I still have an issue with the rear doors as the windows o&c with the master switch but not either door switch. Anyone have an idea about that. Is it a problem with the switches, and if so is it a replacement or repair issue?

Thanks,
A

It's a common problem, look here for a good solution.

Sort of. I took mine apart after seeing a similar solution on another site but the poster on this site went further in fixing the problem. He put the master switch back together and bent the contacts in to make them tighter where the other solution didn't. Mine worked perfect for a while but every now and then it decides to take a coffee break and works intermittently. I haven't had the time to take the switch apart again. It's on my to do list though.

I did replace my pass side switch and it worked for about a month then went to intermittant operation. I wonder if I still have the other one around......?
