Well one of my cats is breaking down. Its rattling like crazy and I want to change it out asap. Decided on magnaflow high flow cats but not sure what to get.

my concern is the o2 sensor holes. Do I need them with the cats or no?

Has anyone done this and got a different universal cat?

Thay have one thats a direct fit one but I dont want to get it simply because it is more expensive and I will be cutting the pipes anyway because I am putting headers on my truck as well and will not fit that directly. So the cats itself is what I need and I will just swap them out.

Also will switching the cats give me any codes?

That is universal, which is what you would need. Just make sure that you weld on bungs for the pre-cat 02s.

 

Thanks... Actually just made an offer to a seller on ebay who sells magnaflow stuff so I got the direct fir for $320 instead of $380. I will just be easier to install. Ill take it!!
