I believe that my bearings are going on my alternator. When I start the truck it really squeals. If I spray some WD-40 on the front pulley of alternator it goes away (it does come back). Not issues with electrical power.

Do you think it's just the bearings? If so, can they be replaced or should I just buy a new?

One more question, can you tell me what alternator I have? 2007 Ram 1500 5.7 Laramie. No stickers on it so not sure if 136 or 160 amp.
