Default 2005 1500 5.7 Hemi Turns over but won't fire

So the other day I drove to my mothers. Cut bushes and backed truck up to load up the cutoffs. When going to move the truck after loading up it would not start. tried for about 5 min. Went and got some starting fluid. Seemed to want to fire but died right away. Went inside to look up some ideas and my Uncle just tapping around everywhere on the fuel tank got it to fire. Was good for 2 days. This morning I woke up for work to a truck that would turn over but not fire again. Had to drive the minivan to work. Will mess with it after work but was hoping to get some ideas first. Thinking fuel pump and/or relay. Was wondering what you all thought.

If you turn the key on but not all the way over to start it, you should hear the pump cut on for a second or so and then cut off (because the engine isn't running)

Does it do that?

If the fuel tank "tap" got it to fire, it's your fuel pump. They don't last long after "tap to start". Mine did the same thing. Filled up with gas, went to start, and no go. Hit the tank with a 2x4 and it fired right up. Died later that night for good. You need a new pump.

Yes I hear something run for a second but it comes from under the hood.

Yeah the tap is not working anymore.
