CPRC a.k.a. c-clip strikes again
At 136K miles I have fallen victim to the Clutch Pack Retaining Clip failure. I only lost one of the four. good thing I decided to change the fluid and the RTV on the diff cover (have a aftermarket one with a drain plug).
Here's the drain plug magnet.
And where is what I found in the bottom of the differential. It wasn't even near the OE magnet it was further back towards the pinion.
