Default 37" tire fitment

Have a question... I have an 04 ram 1500 2wd with a rough country 6" suspension lift...running 22" srt10 wheels that are +25.4 offset and 6.5 backspace on 35x13.5x22 tires and 1 1/2" adapters. My current setup of wheels and tires would not move forward because the tires were wedged against the new knuckles from RC without the adapters. I was told because i was running stock wheels with positive offset. I want to get 18x10 wheels with 37x12.50x18 tires. The new wheels have a -24 offset with 4.5 backspacing making them right at what RC recommends on backspacing for the lift and the new tires would be an inch thinner. Does anyone think the new wheels and tires would work without adapters and minimal to no rub?
