I guess my question is, what harm is there by turning up the torsion bar opposed to buying new keys except for possibly stiffer ride.

cranking the T bars is the same as buying the keys. your still putting the same amount of stress on the bars. although the kit comes with the shock relocator brackets to move the shocks up, but you could just buy longer shocks to compensate for that. I carnked my T bars 4 turns and got 2" outta it. then after acouple of days it sagged to just about 1 3/4"and I noticed a lil difference driving, but I thought it actually drove better after cranking the T bars, the front end was too soft.I would rather have a firmer ride.
