My truck recently developed a shake and horrible acceleration. I have replaced the spark plugs and intake manifold gaskets. The fuel injectors appear to be ok and a compression test also checked out ok but two cylinders did make a not normal noise during the test. The coils are also working properly. The problem seems to be coming from the engine. When I step on the gas there is roughly a 5 second delay and the truck half way attempts to accelerate. When trying to maintain speed the engine shakes violently. Everything with air flow checks out ok. I'm leaning towards a valve or timing issue. Any ideas? Thanks for your input, I am new to the forum.
