Default I want a smooth ride, help with shocks

I hated the stock ram shocks so i switched to rancho 5000 shocks, then i found out that those are more of an off road type shock and i wasnt happy with those either so for the time being i sold those and im now just using cheap $20 auto zone shocks which also suck because they dont handle bumps well. I use my ram as a daily driver only and i want a smooth ride so what shocks are best for that? The bed of my truck is always empty and every bump i go over just makes the bed bounce which is very annoying. Do i need an adjustable shock for that?

Got Monroe Gas-Magnums in my dad's 02, big improvement over the worn stockers. Stiffened it up a tad, but it's a lot more controlled.

I've been running Bilstien shocks on my Rock Crawler Jeeps that I've built. I run them on my street Jeep too. They always handle well and give a smooth ride.
