Has anyone changed the full front split bench and rear split bench in a 04 1500? I looking into doing this as an option to replacing the foam. Ive read most of the forum but havent found anyone who has attempted it. The closets set of seats is around 160 miles from me and would be a huge pain in the *** and wallet to drive down there only to find out it wont fit. Im hoping to throw in anything newer than 2008 since I plan on keeping my truck for a while.

 

anything from 02-08 will fit no problem
09-13 will fit with a bit more ingenuity.

Im headed to midland to hunt a salvage yard for anything I can think of or find and toss it on my truck. So far Ive changed the radio to the 09 model and it had to be finagled in with a couple of screw and cutting the bezel.
Gonna try and throw in 09-10 model seats and some tow mirrors which shouldnt be too hard.

so it looks like my plans are on hold for the next month and a half until i can get back to fort worth or any town will a larger salvage yard. the one in odessa only had busted seats or the wrong type of center consol.
