I have a 2004 dodge ram hemi, i was driving to work this morning doing around a 100kph. my cruise control suddenly shut off. right after my truck started to i guess what you would describe as a lurch. it felt like i was hitting bumps when i was not. there are was no rpm drop, all gauges are fine. everytime it would lurch the truck would slow down a few kp. As if i was hitting a bump. I turned my cruise back on and it did the same thing within minutes. i though it might be a mis fire, but the engine runs smooth and doesnt throw codes. Front end was rebuilt earlier this year. all components are tight. diff was also rebuilt. fluids are fine. im out of ideas.

Any ideas?

 

Any check engine lights? Could be as simple as the abs sensor in the front drivers wheel hub which controls the cruise function
