Thats cool, just askin. I did not realize I could not ask questions on a forum, of all places.

Al, you remind me of service managers at a number of auto dealers. Ran dry of passion by the mindless tasks they have to do. Its a simple observation I made, sorry it annoyed you when i didnt just take your word for it, i am certain you have lots of knowledge to share. Take a break, buddy, it will all end the same way

Didn't annoy me.
You just had 4 or 5 knowledgeable guys explain all was normal (please excuse me from that list). Then you don't seem to take the advice given and still state that to you, who presumably does not have experience with a Hemi engine hence your question, say that they're questionable.
Guess that communications get scrambled on forums or something.
No offence at all intended.

lol it's okay let him think what he wants.

We all know the plugs are nearly perfectly worn for what they are, so if he wants to go on a goose chase to find a golden egg, let him.

But just to close the matter, an overheated plug will corrode and even "melt" in serious situations, from the pictures you have slight white discoloration and almost zero corrosion and ZERO erosion on the electrode.

Your spark plug has served it's useful life.

Is that normal for 20k miles? I understand 30k is the service expectancy. Or is there some life left in these plugs?

Mostly with gas economy in mind, under 2.5k rpm. With a few rumps here and there when getting on eway with a 12ft enclosed trailer and bikes in it

Then 20-30k miles is about average.

Every car and driver are completely different.

I use www.fuelly.com (you can see the link in my signature below) and when my MPG starts dipping into the 12's I know it's time to change the plugs and clean my air filter....
