'05 1500 4WD Ball Joints - Best brand/price?
Sorry about delays... yep, they've all had the same part number on the website and on the boxes that I've gotten and yep, it's the number for the "premium" version of the inner tie rods.
Inner tie rods come in a generic looking box, while the outers come in raybestos branded boxes.
As for pictures, I'll try to snap some soon... basically, one thing lead to another the other day and the truck is done with everything (but the inner tie rods) installed. I wanted to snap pictures as things were done, but due to some random events throughout the day I wasn't able to do that.
I will take some pictures of the parts installed though... my goal will be for Wednesday or Thursday.
For a quick update, generally the install went well. All the parts fit perfectly and just like OEM. One of the Raybestos sway bar links I bought (these were a short notice purchase, not an online order) ended up breaking, but the replacement installed just fine as did the other one purchased. There's a story to go along with how this happened that I'll expand on later. In short I only partially blame the part.
Post install the truck drives great and feels better than before. I still need to get an alignment, but it tracks just as good as it did before the work.
Parts replaced on both sides... upper and lower control arms with new bushings and ball joints, outer tie rods and sway bar links. ...again these were complete kits from Raybestos with all bushing, ball joints, etc preinstalled on the parts.
