Default lots of front end noise 2 years after installing 2 inch leveling kit

been all over the truck looking for source ...

about 11 months ago I noticed the noise and replaced everything, Rack, Tie rod ends, upper and lower BJ's sway bar links and all bushings , new shocks twice cause I thought that might be the problem, only thing I didn't mess with was the coil springs.

could coil spring sag cause a gap to form between the puck and spring when I hit a bump and make this noise, anyone else experience and clink or pop sound as the tire drops off a driveway or into a pot hole, the noise is on both the down and up motion of the tire

I have jacked up the truck checked everything for play , without some way to quickly bounce the tire up or side to side like when hitting a bump I can't find anything...

the noise is now getting worse and louder, I just cant ignore it anymore its going on a year now

yes 2005 Ram 1500 2 wd with about 118 K if that matters

leveling kit was installed about 2 years ago, noise started about a year later, been living with it for almost a year, just got back from a trip and it was killing me to hear it on every bump....

I would have said CVs. but not in your case.

Have you looked at all your bushings?

yep all bushing looked good , as I was under it today

whats this about removing the sway bar ?? I don't think thats where the noise is coming from but why couldn't I just remove the bar and zip tie the end links in place and see if the noise goes away ??

remove the end links as opposed to the sway bar lol
Or, put on proper end links, make sure the sway bar bushings are good, and you're fine.

actually the noise occurred before replacing the bushings and end links and still continues ...I just wondered if the sway bar could be hitting something
