Can anyone tell me how to install this plastic clip on the high side pressure line at the AC compressor? When I replaced the line I damaged the old clip getting it out and now that I have a new clip (that I cannot return because it was apparently special ordered) I cannot figure out how to install it.

I can't even get a can of refrigerant to last more than 24 hours without this thing in.
