Default What is the thickness of new brake pads on a 2500 Hemi?

I took my truck in for state inspection and was almost certain that it wouldn't pass due to brake pads. They have never been replaced. To my surprise, the shop said that the pads were "like new"... I didn't believe them that they actually checked the pads because of that so I lifted the truck and checked one of em today. I'd estimate that it's got 2/8'' worth of padding left. My haynes manual states that the minimum is 1/8''. This is a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 HEMI. What is the thickness of new pads?

You can always go in any parts store and ask to see a set of new pads also
