I've got an 05 4x4. I've been intermittently noticing a kind of rubbing sound at slow speeds when coming to a complete stop. The last 2 days however , it has been doing it every time I come to a complete stop. Usually, just about the last 2-3 seconds before I'm completely stopped is when it starts. Never at highway speeds, however there is a vibration if I have to brake hard on the interstate. Any idea what this could be? I bought the truck used a couple years ago, and I haven't had any work done to the brakes. It only had 45000 miles on it then, now it has about 130k.

Try checking brake pads and shoes

Yes, very likely brakes, you get shudder and vibration when coming to a stop. It's very typical. Do however check your hub if the brakes aren't the case.
