Default Windows

My driver power window auto down did something weird the other day. I tryed to put the window up but it auto down, and now it will not auto down. Is there a way to reset the window.

Thanks for the help.

You need to take apart the switch and bend the contacts back or get a new switch. This is a common issue over time with usage

This is also a common issue if the switch got very wet (from rain or a drink spilled or something).

Not likely. The switches are well-protected from such calamities.

OP - what year?

Its a 2004. I took the switch apart and evrything looks fine. There is no way to re-learn the motor. Thanks for all the help.

My 300C sometimes "forgets" how its windows are supposed to work. To remind it, I hold the switch up (or down, depending on which motion it forgot) until the window "twitches". Your truck may have the same aggravation. The motor doesn't "learn" anything - it responds to the polarity of the signal.
