Default Air Intakes off of EBay

Hey all, I've been checking out EBay for the deals on stuff formy "Brandi" and I noticed that there a LOT of these no name ramair inttake tubes along with prices ranging from $20-125. What are your thoughts on these, are they worth it because of the "NO Name " price?? Some even come with a K & N cone filter and they are all about the same style as a K & N tube. Most are made out of 306 T aluminum Some even have the longer ram air tubes that pick up near the front of the fender/grill junction. So I could buy/build that AIRRAM under hoodbehind the grill scoop for. Check out the pics below.

Thanks, H- (aka DaHipaKea)

Me again Both of these are on EBay under Ram 1500 Air in Car & Truck Parts, the top intake with the K & N filter is $65. + S/H and the other one is $22 + S/H. I thought the prices would show up in the titles of the pics.

H-out

i bought one like that for my 4.7 ram and it was worthless, the tube that actually came with it, wasnt even as long as the stock intake tube, and you have to take the box thats on top on the intake manifold off. it was kinda cool cuz it made the engine look much bigger, but not worth the 60 i paid for it. this time i'm goin right to mopar and getting the c.a.i for my hemi from them.

I bought one off of ebay for $20 worked great BUT. I knew what I was buying and knew what I was looking for. I bought a civic Air filter and custom fit it for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler. I cut the Aluminum Tube to proper length, made custom brackets for it. and bought a chrome deflector from Auto zone for $5 (to deflect water if it were to come in the engine compartment. Sorry No picture of the aluminum one, but before I bought the aluminum one from ebay I made one. This picture is similar to the one I custom fit from ebay. The Aluminum one looked and worked great... I sold the Jeep and bought a Dodge truck.... I am going to buy another Jeep for rock crawling only....

Cough up the $250 and buy a K&N...or Volant. Your driving a $20,000 truck...you might as well buy the good stuff.

I got my K&N off Ebay for $250...its the 2nd gen. one.
