when i turn on my A/C runs great but when i turn it off the A/C light blinks.....it started this yesterday and i dont understand why, anyone have any suggestions or a fix to this? it only does it it when the A/C is off

i have a 2007 Dodge Ram 4.7 with 92000 miles on her, everything else works great.

 

Is your recirc door operating correctly? I ask this because my 2006 had a broken door, and after a certain amount of starts the system would do a self check (for lack of a more technical term) and determine that one of the motors turns without stopping. That would trigger a flashing button. Now, I don't remember if it was the defrost button, or the A/C button. After I replaced the door, the button has not blinked again.
