Unhappy A/C wasn't blowing hard at all, and now only works on high.

I have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 Laramie hemi 4x4, and I bought it with like 185,000 miles, the a/c blew cold, but not too hard, just thought it was because it was an older truck maybe, this morning the a/c wouldn't turn on, it would only blow in high. Any ideas? Like is it the recirc door, the blower resistor or the blower motor? And how much are they, and where are they located on the truck?

Thanks

If fan only blows on high, I believe this is a symptom of the resistor gone out. I don't know where it is located, never had to replace mine. Also recirc door could be blocking it. Pull the blower motor off and look up in there and see.

I took your advice and went ahead to the dodge dealership and bought a a/c restrictor, damn near $83.78 for it. Kinda nervous since I couldn't return it, but I got home and looked under the dash on the passenger side, one wire, disconnected it and unscrewed two screws, pulled the old one out and put a new one in, and my a/c works! Simple kinda expensive 2 minute fix. Thanks.
