Default EBC Ultimax Slotted Rotors with EBC 7,000 series and 6,000 series brake pads??

Hey all, so I just took the plunge on EBC Ultimtax Slotted Rotors for front and rear and got the EBC 7,000 (part # DP71650) series braek pads for the front and the EBC 6,000 series (part # DP61267) for the rear brake pads.

These are on the way as we speak.

But! I am starting to wonder if the EBC Ulitmax Slotted rotors are the wrong ones to use with these brake pads? I read one article out there where a gentleman placed the 7,000 series pads on EBC Ulitmax Slotted Rotors and had great luck. However, I think EBC recommends to run these break pads with their more expensive EBC Sport Rotors...?

Can anybody tell me if I will be ok with the EBC Ultimax Slotted rotors (for front and rear) and these 7,000 series front brake pads and the 6,000 series rear brake pads?

I will be putting these on a 2004 Dodge RAM 2500 5.9L Cummins. I do a fair amount of towing.

Thanks in advance for any replies!

The better question is why would you not be fine. At the end of the day, your overall goal is to stop. You could do that with regular rotors and ceramic pads from a local auto parts store. So with what you bought, will you stop? Yes. You will be fine. A lot lighter on the pocket but you will be fine

Any combo or pads and rotors is a good combo.

Install everything correctly and you will live to see another day. I say that only to say this, here locally no too long ago, a guy did his brakes on his quad. He went out on a test ride supposedly and they failed. He wrecked and died. Now what wasn't mentioned was how fast he was going or where he was at (tracks, trails, street, ect) but just do it right.
