hey guys,

has anyone had a failure of the infinity amp?

recently i heard a loud static noise and than noise completely stopped out of all my speakers.

stock deck seems to be working correctly, just no sound.

checked all audio fuses, ok
going to check for 12v @ amp tomorrow.

i am more posting for some advice or experience in opening and repairing the amp itself. at 500$ and dealer saying not available/discontiued in canada.

repair or used is my only option

You could buy a used one. I dropped mine in the trash long ago after not being able to give it away.

Another option is to take advantage of the situation and go with an aftermarket head unit and amp bypass kit.
