Exclamation HELP, dash lights not working

HI, new guy here. I just bought a 2003 2500 cummins. I just realized that non of the dash lights work. The lights for the odometer and gear selector and the clock radio work and do dim with the dimmer switch, but I can't get any of the other lights to even work. I have searched here on this forum and have seen this topic talked about before, but I never found any that said how they fixed it. I have checked fuses, but I don't know where to go from here. Oh and I also noticed that the cab lights don't come on when the driver door is opened, but comes on when any other door is opened. Is this related or a whole seperate deal. Thanks for any input on this matter.

Welcome to the site. First things first, I would verify the bulbs actually work.

In the links below in my signature you can find and download a free copy of the Service Manual for your truck. In it are many many things including electrical schematics you can use.

One thing to look at though, pull back the rubber boot from the drivers door to the body and see if there are any broken wires in ot
