Engine Turns Over But Won't Start, CEL and ETC Lights On But No Codes

I have a 2004 Hemi Ram with 106k miles on it. I got it in 2006 and it has been running like a champ ever since then with no real issues. The only mod on it is a K&N CAI.

About a month ago I started getting the intermittent oil pressure guage not working issue but the truck was running fine. I would just turn the engine off, restart it, and the problem would go away. I have been meaning to replace the oil pressure sensor but I just moved and I wanted to get the house in order first.

Last night I went to leave work. The truck started up just fine but the oil pressure gauge was not working. After running about 3-4 seconds I turned the truck off. Then I tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't start. The engine is turning over really good, it just won't turn on.

So I checked all the fuses that have anything to do with ignition, engine control, or fuel. They are all good. I can hear the fuel pump come on when I turn the key to the "on" position. I disconnected the battery for a few minutes and reconnected it. It still turns over but will not start.

The Check Engine Light (CEL) and Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Light come on and stay on when I turn the key to the on position. My boss brought in his code reader this morning for me to use. I connect it and ran the code reader function 3 times, it is saying there are no error/fault codes.

I don't think this is related to the oil pressure sensor going bad. I have read all the ETC issues people have complained about here. I have had none of those problems. No loss of power, no rough idle, no RPM fluctuation, nothing. This is the first time I have ever noticed the ETC light coming on. If my throttle body was dirty or sticking I would think that I would come on slowly with bad idle or with low or lagging power. I don't think it would run fine and then not run at all.

I am at a total loss. I can't understand how the truck starts up just fine and then 6 seconds later it won't start at all. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried the "key dance" yet? Some readers won't pick up all codes.
