Default new clutch kit install, anything else?

Hi,

Truck is an 04 1500 6 cyl, 3.7 liter, 5 speed with 190k miles. It's up on ramps now. The release bearing is making noise so I'll be installing a complete clutch kit (LuK part #05-108 - parts geek.com, $163+$8ship+tax) in the next 4 days. My question is whether there is or are other components that need attention while the truck is on ramps and disassembled whether related or unrelated to the clutch procedure? Any reccomendations or advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Bill

u-joints in the drive line and if yours has it, the center bearing (carrier bearing). change the fluid in the master/slave cylinder for the release, any seals than may be showing signs of leakage, new tranny oil--------new pilot bearing, used grease very liberally on this--they tend to wipe out the input shafts.

Use some grease on the input shaft pilot bushing just make sure its not so much that it will risk getting onto the flywheel.

oh and it usually calls for a lithium based moly grease
