Default gen 3 factory alarm issues

hello, I have an 02 ram sport. needed to replace the gauge cluster due to the other failing. now the factory alarm is sounding as well as the lights flashing. what is the difference between the clusters, the new(used) came from an 02 as well. where is the alarm control module located. I do not have the factory remote to reset the alarm. I tried the unlock and lock doors but didn't work. need help

Are you absolutely 100% it is a factory alarm?

it is the horn and headlights that are flashing and blowing, also the light in the cluster which I never saw before since I have owned the truck. I recently install a new but used cluster, removed it and threw in the old one and no problems. the new cluster has the same pt #'s as the old one. just not sure what is going on. thanks for getting back to me

I'm still not convincing is factory. Can you post a picture of your remote? Are there any accessory wires connected to the battery post?

i do have an aftermarket alarm auto start. its by auto mate at least thats the remote. i was told there is a module in the cluster that controls the factory alarm. i have owned this truck since 05 and never heard or seen the lights flash and horm beep. my current alarm has a silly siren
