Loud squeek When not using brakes

Default Loud squeek When not using brakes

05 ram 1500 with 57,000 - i have all new brakes,tires. When im at a drive throu and i take my foot off the brake and just coast forward to the next window i notice a squeek/squail sound as im moving forward and it will do it off and on but never when im driving normal or using the brakes, its only when im moving forward without touching anything.any ideas whats making noise? the second i hit the brakes or gas it goes away.

did you put grease on the back side of the break pads? If not that is likely where the sound is coming from....

Or if the spring clip that separates your pads from the rotor when you let off the brake is worn out or installed incorrectly...

Good rule of thumb is to replace those clips every 2nd brake pad change....

new clips were put on when i did the brakes as well as grease. the sound is only there when im going real slow and never any other time.

You could rotate it manually to see if you can reproduce the noise.
