Hello I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with the 4.7 in it. I have a question. The other day I got an error code p0457. I looked it up and found it to be a loose gas cap. While the cap was not loose, I opened it and retightened it. That seemed to have fixed the error code but now my cruise control will not work. I'm at a loss. I'm looking to trade this truck in for a new one but I want everything working at the time of trade in. Can you help me?

 

Check your vacuum hoses and stuff connected to the cruise unit under the hood.
