Very satisfied with new mods...
This may also help those of you with the programmer dilemma. I have wreaked much havoc here in Geogia now that I have discovered the potential of my previously stock 4.7L truck. I finally got my stuff from RPM Outlet and got it put on as quickly as possible. The K&N CAI not only looked great, but added a LOT of growl under the hood. I was quite surprised. The throttle body spacer (which was pretty much a freebie considering the cost of the whole kit) whistles when I get on or off the pedal. After allowing my boyfriend who has a 2500 Hemi try the superchips max microtuner on his truck (he almost peed himself), we put his back to stock, and then programmed mine. The superchips programmer does allow for tire size change, but wont let you customize shift points. However, it DID change them on its own in the "performance" tuning setting. Overall, the truck shifts harder, sounds better, and is MUCH faster. Next will be dual exhaust. Can't wait.

You mean to tell us he was able to program his and yours with the same tuner?? I was told these things are vin locked : once installed on one truck it cannot be installed on another . I was wondering about that one .
Yep, but I have also been told that you can make them program more than one at a time... if you are a gifted hacker and void the warranty by hooking up to the bottom of the programmer, which, I believe, is a USB port? Given the fact that it voids the superchips warranty, I would advise against it.
