Exclamation Obd2 'linking error'

2007 RAM 1500 ..Engine light is on. Truck running fine (for now). OBD2 is showing Linking Error . Always plug it in with engine off then turn on still not working. Works fine in wifes car though. It worked on the truck too when I bought it in May this year. Any ideas why it wont work now..? Thanks in advance

Take a close look at the pins for pushing out the back of connector or bent condition.

Spammer be gone...

Check your 'Cigar' fuse. That powers the serial port of the OBD connector so it can receive a signal.
