Default Front wheel hub abs/speed wire

Can anyone tell me exactly what the wire is for on the wheel hub? front left

I got a part but it doesnt have the abs wire, and I need to make an 8 hour drive to the oil rig to go back to work in the morning.

Can I install the wheel hub without the wire?
I figure I can but possible
1 my brakes may not work properly
2 my speedometer wont work

I could care less about all the flashing lights in my truck I can order another part tmrw when i go to work but i absolutley dont have time to drive an hour back to the parts store, and Ied really be embaressed to drive up to the oil rig in a car.

problem solved...
I ran up to the dealership and played dumb after i had them tell me what the wire was for its just for my abs.
Apparently speedometer works off something else.

The only cuase for this is that my braking abs will be affented that my brakes will lock up if i had to slam on them.
If i can avoid uncaustious drivers, cows, deers, pigs i should be ok.
Hope this could help somone else in the future

speedo works off sensor in the rear diff, that abs is also for the cruise, so if that doesn't work you know why
