How can you possibley put the head gasket upsidedown when it has dowels that hold it in place in 2 random spots as well as a timing chain that goes thru on one side???

So I changed my head gaskets torqued the heads put everything back together. And putting coolant in the radiator it started leaking from both heads. One side more then the other. My heart dropped. What did I do wrong?

You probably put the one side upside down or backwards giving way to the coolant passage to leak

when you install New head gaskets. you make sure all openings line up.... not just the cylinders..

go purchase another set of head gaskets and start over...
and check that water passages and oil passages.. line up.
and double check that the New head gaskets are correct to your engine and year..
