Default bright lights not as bright as could be

I'm having a small problem that may not be specific to the ram but here it is. When I flash my bright lights they are very bright and when I say flash i mean in the sense where if a car was coming at you with no lights on you would just flash them a little. But when I engage it fully meaning click it all the way in bright mode it gets dimmer than it is if i was to just flash them. Is this normal and if not is there anything I can do to fix this because I don't recall this happening in my other vehicles. Oh by the way its an 05 dodge daytona quad cab hemi. Thanks for any responses.

That's because when you flash, both the lows and highs are on at the same time. When you turn on your high beams, the lows cut out.

This is correct, also when your fog lights (if equipped & turned on) will shut off when you switch to High Beams as well...

This is completely normal.

Ok thanks guys I just found it odd that none of my other vehicles seems to do this. Maybe it's a dodge thing. Thanks for the info.
