I've got an 08 1500 QC, 4.7, 2WD. I'm pretty sure it didn't come with the tow package, and I'm curious what all it would have come with. From the factory, my truck had a 4-pin connector hanging down at the rear bumper. I added the OEM frame hitch myself. What else is included?

 

there are 2 tow packages...

4 pin connector and hitch.

or

7 pin connector in bumper and a 4 pin connector under bumper and better hitch. and 4 pin connector (blue) under dashboard for electronic trailer brakes.
power steering cooler.

 

The first one came with Class III Hitch

I believe the 2nd came with a Class IV Hitch....

Yep Class IV hitch, 4 and 7 pin connectors and a slightly larger tranny cooler. That's what I know off the top of my head since my truck has this tow package

 

Yes, type III and type IV.. I forgot the transmission cooler... as my Ram has a manual transmission.

I also have the TrueLock.. but I am not sure if that was in the Towing package.

because I like a manual transmission AND a limited slip differential ,,, when the weather gets bad.. I can drive out of it with this stuff.
