Default Heater switch not working

Yesterday my stereo deck quit working so i tore into the dash and found the power line and come loose so i went ahead and fixed it. Put everything back together and then went to start the truck up to take my daughter to school and found the the heater wasn't turning on. I have now tore the dash apart again as well as checked the fuse box but can't find the problem. Can anyone help and point me in a direction that i have over looked or missed. Thanks

do you mean the fan wasn't turning on? or it wasn't blowing hot air?

Not turning on at all everything else on that panel works (4x4, mirror heat light comes on as well as AC but fan doesn't kick on and both cigar and power outlet)

I've spent the day tracing wires and still can't find the problem. I even changed out the blower motor resistor cause the top was cracked the the pins were all corroded. At this point I'm thinking it might be the control switch since even when the know is in the off position the AC light stays on so it's not reading that the switch is off. And if that's not the problem then it's off to the dealership and let them fix it.

Ignition switch, possibly. Fairly common issue, it seems.
