Default Possible TPS going bad??? 2008 1500 5.7L Hemi

Hello All,

I am new to this forum so this may be a repost, if so, I apologize in advance. I need some help figuring out what may possibly be wrong (if it is even wrong) with my 2008 1500 5.7L Hemi. While speeding up, it seems to be kinda sluggish (easing in on the gas) then will suddely kick into higher RPM's (100-200 difference) and goes on like normal. Does not seem to have any problems shifting gears. Also, while driving and maintaining speed, i hear a "CLICK" and i can also hear the exhaust kick in or out and the RPM's change 100-200 difference up and down... From what I found on other forums, could possibly be the TPS going bad but i am unsure. Anyone have any ideas?

PS- I forgot to mention, the owner before me did put on a Mopar Cold Air Intake and Exhaust system. Im not sure if he put on anything else. But Though this may make a difference in the diagnosis.

There is no separate TPS on the 5.7L.

The T/B is an all integrated unit being fly-by-wire
