Default 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 problems

Hi everyon, I'm new to the site. Hoping I can get some input before I go crazy. This all started about 2 yrs ago, with my 4x4 not working. Sometimes, it would not work at all, and other times, it would lock in to 4 high, and stay there. After numerous trips to the Dodge Dealer, and them replacing about every part of the 4x4(transfer case, 4x4 motor, switch, tipm, and front axle actuator), it has never been completely fixed. They will fix a part, and it will work for a few days, then the same thing over again. For example, this past Friday, they put a new TIPM in. Well it worked til today, and i am now sitting at the dealer again. I'm very frustrated and have no confidence in the 4x4 when it is working. I do no off-roading with this vehicle. I live in PA, so its mainly just used when driving on snow covered roads. Does anyone have any ideas/input? Thank you in advance.

Can you give us a list of what the dealer has already replaced?

Also do you have a manual or electronic transfer case? (dial on the dash or lever on the floor?)

Automatic or Manual Transmission?

Its auto transmission and electric transfer case. They have replaced transfer case, tipm, 4x4 motor, switch, wire harness and front axle actuator. The other day, they unplugged the AC Transducer(?), saying it was taking voltage from the 4x4 motor, causing it to short out, if that makes sense. So far, I haven't had a problem.

That's going to be a very hard issue to diagnose... even for them... Honestly, I'd trade it in for something else and call it a day on that truck... more of a headache than it's worth.
