Default Superchips or Diablo?

I have an 06 Ram Hemi, I was just blessed with the P3400 code.
I would like to turn off my MDS. I don't really look to do any custom tuning, maybe just when I pull my boat. Which tuner would be easiest and cheapest?

They are both easy and relatively cheap for what they offer. Both offer MDS disable.

If your not into custom tuning, I would opt for Superchips. Flashpaq 3865 or the sleeker looking Cortex 3950. They do the same thing but the cortex is little more $$$.

The Superchips offers more for transmission tuning IF you purchase the added software. The Diablo offers 2/3 of the transmission tuning right out of the box(Does not support Partial downshifts)
Transmission tuning is very complex and can be a bit cumbersome for most. There are downloads you can use that other people have prepared on their vehicle. It would start you in the right direction or you could run with what they have already set up. Personal preference really.

I tow regularly. I never even have to use tow/haul with the way my trans is tuned. Truck holds a gear going up hill rather than upshifting and losing power which my truck constantly did before. Truck has instantaneous downshifting(controlled by partial downshift schedule), so no more mashing the pedal for a downshift. Just so many benefits, but it can be somewhat confusing to set up.

I'd say hit my site up for the Diablo Intune. It'll do an MDS delete out of the box and if you did want a better tune that's more tailored for your specific truck then you can work with me on that as the price of the tuner on my site would include the extra tuning services.
