Default 02 Ram Heat Core Question

I have an 02 ram 1500 4.7 and I have been having issues with little to no heat. I assumed my door blend was bad or the heater core was bad. My main problem is that I was getting a greasy condensation on the windshield whenever I used the heat. When starting the truck as well as accelerating, I could hear the heater core gurgling and sounded like it was leaking but I did not get any liquid on my floor mats. Now bear with me as I have never dealt with any issue like this before but I was searching through youtube for videos to change the heater core. One guy was getting the gurgling noise yet he found that he just had a pinhole size leak in his hose. Is it possible to have a greasy condensation on the glass due to this? This is just my last resort before changing the heater core tomorrow.

Thanks in advance for any help!

If you're getting coolant smell and condensation on the inside of the windshield you have a leaking heater core.

To add to that... when you replace the heatercore, change the evap core as well, and replace the blend/mode doors as well with a reinforced set from heatertreater. Even if they're not broke now, they will. Guarenteed.
