Default Nasta S.S. nerf bars

Has anyone had any experience with this brand? They advertise as being 100% stainless inc brackets and bolts. Any input on quality, installation, etc would be appreciated. I'm also wondering if they'll clear the dealer installed Mopar molded front mudflaps on my '03 quad cab?

riverdale, I put Nasta S.S. nerf bars on my 2003 quad cab when it was new and like them very much. I believe the bolts and brakets are 100% stainless but the polished stainless bars will get a little surface rust if you live where there's snow and salt on the roads!! You just have to keep a fresh coat of wax on them once in a while. All in all mine are going on their 3rd winter and their holding up well. My 97 ram I had smittybuilts on and they were the same way. Their good bars you just have to give them some TLC!! hope I helped you, good luck.

Thanks for the response. I live in New England so road salt is definitely a factor but regular washing and waxing throughout the year should keep the stainless shiny. Do they mount to the cab mounts and were they easy to install? I 'm looking for no drilling on or around the rockers due to living in the snowbelt.

I have a set on my 05. They are indeed a complete SS setup. The only down side was I had to drill out/elongate the holes inb the brackets ever so slightly when installing. The bolts that go through the backets into the bars were not right on, it was close but not matter how I adjusted I was still off by a 1/4".

Yes riverdale they do mount to the cab mounts, and I had no drilling required to mine like 94rt did to his. Maybe a two year older truck made a diff. Even if you do have to drill it he said he only had to ream out the exsiting holes in the brackets!!
