hey guys. i just threw a k&n cold air intake on my 04 ram 1500 and it threw a p0113 code which has something to do with the intake air temp sensor. like a dummy, i never disconnected the battery when i unpluged the sensor to take my stock intake housing off. i cleared the code and let the truck idle for a couple minutes and it hasnt come back on.

could the code just have been thrown because i unpluged the sensor? its plugged back in now before i cleared the code

on an unrelated note, is my engine supposed to be that loud with wide open throttle? im not talking about the whistling, im talking about the mean sounding growl it makes.

 

Yes, I have forgotten to plug the sensor back in. Yes with the hemi hat off you will hear more intake noise.

 

I have the 4.7 but I think it's the same basic noise. Don't get me wrong, it sounds badass and awesome. It just seems like a massive difference from stock.
