Default 03 ram 1500 4x4 with 5.9L v8 using oil
My truck is a 03 1500 with the 360 and it's using oil.
(About a quart every 1000miles) the truck only has
93000 miles on it. Does anyone have suggestions on
What the problem might be.

Dodge would tell you a quart in 1,000 miles is normal. I don't buy it, but some oil use can be expected at 93,000. Is it leaking or burning?

It's burning it.

When? If it's a blue puff at start-up look for leaking valve stem seals. If it blows blue when you stand on it, perhaps it's rings. Either way, it isn't worth fixing. Just keep oil in it.
